Dr. Powell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, G.A., and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, G.A. He completed his residency at Georgia Baptist/Scottish Rite in Atlanta, G.A. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in adult reconstruction, including Total Hip and Total knee Arthroplasties, and difficult lower extremity fracture cases.
